Mario Diaz

Mario Diaz has built an acting career appearing in some of the kitschiest exploitation movies out of the gay underground of Los Angeles. Diaz co-starred with transgender actress Alexis Arquette in 2006's "Killer Drag Queens On Dope," as well as featuring in the bisexual romantic comedy "Adam & Steve." He also had an unusual role in German film "Goldene Zeiten." In Paul Sapiano's "Hollywood Sex Wars," Diaz won raves as Los Angeles nightlife maven Johnny Eyelash, who takes three hapless losers under his wing to instruct them on the ins and outs of scoring in the city. He also starred on several episodes of VH1's comedy "The Agency" about the trials and tribulations of a small Hollywood talent agency. Most recently, he was seen on Web video series "Flashing Lives." Diaz is one-third of the popular electronic rock band Dirty Sanchez, which is one of the most over-the-top groups in the music scene today. They have opened for acts ranging from Boy George and Nina Hagen to Fannypack and Miss Kittin. In Los Angeles, Diaz works as a DJ and party promoter, hosting events like Full Frontal Disco at the club Akbar. He has also promoted events in New York City and Seattle.
