Darius Rucker

As a rock performer, Darius Rucker created a successful career for himself. A regular on the awards show circuit, he made an appearance on "The 27th Annual NAACP Image Awards" (1995-96). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Bringin' in the Holidays With BeBe Winans & Friends" (1997-98) and "One Love: The Bob Marley All-Star Tribute" (1999-2000). He also worked in film during these years, including roles in "Shallow Hal" (2001). During his budding acting career, Rucker also contributed music for the dramatic adaptation "Message in A Bottle" (1999) with Kevin Costner. In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Rucker devoted his time to various credits, such as "The TV Set" with Lindsay Sloane (2007), the Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston hit "Marley & Me" (2008), "Wetlands Preserved" (2008) and "Conan" (TBS, 2010-). In the 2010s, Rucker lent his talents to projects like "The 44th Annual CMA Awards" (ABC, 2010-11), "The 45th Annual CMA Awards" (ABC, 2011-12), the Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis box office smash "Ted" (2012), "Annie" (2014) starring Jamie Foxx and "Flipping Ships" (Animal Planet, 2014-15). Rucker most recently worked on "iHeartradio Country Festival" (2014-15).
