Sara Serraiocco

Sara Serraiocco conquered a challenging role in her debut film, playing a blind girl in the drama "Salvo" (2013). Born in Pescara, Italy, Serraiocco devoted herself to the study of dance throughout her youth, eventually becoming interested in acting as well. After graduating from high school, she moved to Rome to study at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, and quickly landed her role in "Salvo" soon after. Her reputation for devoting herself to her roles would only strengthen with her part in "Cloro" (2015), for which she tirelessly learned the art of synchronized swimming in order to perform most of her own water scenes in the film. Likewise, Serraiocco would attend several meetings of the Jehovah's Witnesses and befriended a young woman from the church as well, all in order to help her play a girl from that background in the drama "Wordly Girl" (2016). Throughout her career, Serraiocco continued to hone her English skills in the hopes of expanding her reach into in the American entertainment industry. That hard work paid off when she joined the cast of the TV series "Counterpart" (Starz!, 2018-) in 2018.
