In the kingdom of Grimm, a frightened Hansel and Gretel run away from their parents and into the arms of a baker with a taste for children.

The siblings seek safety with a turnip farmer and his wife, in whose home there's a bedroom with seven empty beds, and something seems off.

Giving up their search for perfect parents, Hansel and Gretel make a new home in the woods, where Hansel develops a beastly appetite.

Gretel finds herself sad and alone until a friendly fishmonger comes to her rescue; a rejuvenated Hansel makes a fresh start as a lord.

Hansel's fate takes a devilish turn when Lord Meister loses a bet; Gretel is shocked to learn that a handsome young man isn't what he seems.

Gretel makes a plan to find her brother, but, first, she must expose an evil warlock; Hansel must outwit the Devil himself to gain his freedom.
