Chasing the Wind

When Lin Ge (Jiang Zhen Yu) and her friend Nie Chi (Gu Zi Cheng) were children, Nie Chi recommended that she join a sports school, where she took up short track speed skating alongside him. However, because Lin Ge's family favored boys over girls, she felt isolated and trapped, unable to train consistently. Luckily, she and Nie Chi were supported by their coach, who took on a father figure-like role as he successfully guided them onto the provincial team. Despite facing different setbacks during training, they supported each other and strengthened their bond – and Nie Chi began developing feelings for Lin Ge. As the two make their way onto the Beijing Winter Olympics team, they grow ever closer to their goals of becoming athletes on the international stage, but will they find romance together, too? This drama was adapted from the novel of the same name by Tang Zhi Feng.
