Pettson and Findus: A Little Nuisance, a Great Friendship
Available on Viaplay
Old Pettersson lives in a small, red house, spends his days chopping wood, doing handicrafts and inventing, fishing and looking after his chickens. Actually, he has everything he needs to live. But sometimes Pettersson is overcome by loneliness. One day, neighbor Beda Andersson, who warmly takes care of everyone, gives him a little tomcat so that the old man has a little company. Pettersson gives him the name Findus and raises him lovingly. Happiness is perfect when the little tomcat begins to speak - a wonderful, apparently inseparable friendship begins. Neighbor Gustavsson sees the relationship between the two as a little strange and thinks Pettersson is a weirdo. He himself has completely different problems. His rooster crows and crows and crows. Before the poultry ends up in the saucepan, rescue approaches from Beda Andersson, who with her huge heart asks Pettersson to take the animal in. The old man happily agrees. There is great excitement about the new addition in the hen house. Only Findus becomes more and more sad and feels left out, as the rooster not only receives the undivided attention of the chickens, but also that of Pettersson. The little cat is afraid of losing his best and only friend.
