Caterina Boratto

Actress Caterina Boratto appeared on the big screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Boratto's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Marcello Mastroianni fantastical drama "8 1/2" (1963), the dramatic fantasy "Juliet of the Spirits" (1965) with Giulietta Masina and the adventure "Diabolik" (1968) with John Philip Law. She also appeared in "Castle Keep" (1969) and "La Casa de las Palomas" (1971). She continued to act in productions like "Ettore lo Fusto" (1972), "Primo Amore" (1978) starring Ugo Tognazzi and "32 Dicembre" (1988) with Benedetto Casillo. She also landed a role in the miniseries "The Far Pavilions" (1983-84). In the latter half of her career, she tackled roles in the horror movie "Phantom of Death" (1988) with Michael York, "La Nuit de Varennes" (1989) with Jean-Louis Barrault and the dramatic adaptation "Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom" (1991) with Paolo Bonacelli. She also appeared in "Once Upon A Crime" (1992). Boratto more recently appeared in "Vendetta II: The New Mafia" (1993-94). Boratto passed away in September 2010 at the age of 95.
