Dale Reki is undertaking a fairly typical mission when he finds a young devil girl with a broken horn; not willing to abandon her in the wilderness, he takes her back to town.

While helping run errands in town, Latina gets lost and goes on a small adventure of her own, while Dale frantically searches for her.

Latina starts attending classes at the local temple, where she learns more about human society.

Some unexpected news has Dale preparing to make the long trip back to his hometown, and Latina decides she wants to go with him.
