In Ikaria, one of the most isolated islands in the Greek archipelago, people live on average 10 years older than the rest of Europe. Niklas gets to meet wine growers and beekeepers, and sees how activity and the social affect.

Okinawa is known for being the place in the world where you live the longest. Niklas tries to figure out how much the food has to do with all this, and also gets to learn the basics of the island's national sport Karate.

An untipped blue zone is found in fast food homeland USA. In Loma Linda outside LA, the Christian faith has managed to gain a strong foothold, which seems to have contributed to living much longer than in the rest of the world.

In a village on the Italian island of Sardinia, the people have lived longer than in the rest of the world already since the Roman times. And of course, Niklas wants to find out what makes this mythical place so special.

Many 100-year-olds come from the southern Swedish village of Vittsjö. Niklas goes there and sees how the sisters Gunvor, 104, and Britta, 94, live. He also meets a young couple who have chosen an old-fashioned lifestyle.
