Betty Miller

Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Betty Miller graced the silver screen many times. She had an early role on the television special "Dottie" (PBS, 1986-87). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" (CBS, 1967-1973). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "The Wizard of Loneliness" (1988) and "High Stakes" (1989). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). In the latter half of her career, she continued to act in the Tom Hanks smash hit sports comedy "A League of Their Own" (1992) and "Angie" (1994) with Geena Davis. She also was featured in the TV movie "Original Sins" (CBS, 1994-95). Miller last acted in the Nicolas Cage dramatic adaptation "Bringing Out the Dead" (1999). Miller passed away in May 2004.
