Candice Patton

Candice Patton was an American TV actress who was best known for her recurring roles on shows like "The Game" (BET/The CW, 2006-15) and "The Flash" (The CW, 2014-). Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Texas, Patton always dreamt of becoming an actress. So when it came time for college, she enrolled in the theatre program at Southern Methodist University (SMU). While attending SMU, Patton acted in various local productions of Shakespearean plays, while honing her craft through constant study at SMU. One of her first big breaks came when a talent scout for "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1973-) spotted her at SMU and offered her a small part on the show. Patton accepted the offer, appearing on five episodes of the long-running soap opera before returning to Texas to complete her undergraduate degree. After graduating from SMU in 2007, Patton returned to L.A. where she quickly landed recurring roles on the web series "Sorority Forever" (TheWB.com, 2008-), as well the hit HBO comedy "Entourage" (2004-2011). Patton continued working steadily throughout the early 2010s, nabbing guest spots on "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2005-) and "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012), before landing a recurring part on the BET comedy-drama series, "The Game." Patton's string of good luck continued in 2014 after she joined the cast of the superhero series, "The Flash." Patton played Isis West on the show, the romantic interest of the superhuman lead character.
