Episode 5

S1 E5: Now a widow, Dorothea seeks advice from Dr Lydgate on who to replace her late husband in his role of chaplaincy. Dr. Lydgate's cousin, Captain Lydgate comes for an extended visit and strikes a great friendship with the doctor's wife. Meanwhile Arthur Brooke's quest for parliament becomes embroiled in controversy and Ladislaw is out of a job. An unwelcome visitor brings bad news for Bulstrode.
