Emily in The Middle

S21 E15: One snow day Donald and Douglas pick up a very long train of heavy flatbeds from the Docks. The flatbeds are heavy and The Fat Controller asks Emily to lend the two engines some puff. Emily joins Douglas at the back of the train – but their chatter makes Donald out at the front feel left out in the cold. So with the train blocking a junction Donald and Douglas swap around. But now Douglas feels excluded! Stopping the train on Gordon’s Hill Donald and Douglas swap over once again. Poor Emily can’t hold up the train – and she is pushed backwards off the rails by the heavy flatbeds. Donald and Douglas feel bad that they let Emily get in the middle of their disagreement! And Emily is quite happy to take the front of the train and let the bickering brothers stick together at the back!
