Episode 1

S1 E1: A young John Ridd watches helplessly as his father is killed by a member of the feared Doone clan, although he doesn't see who fired the fatal shot. Years later, on a covert visit to Doone Valley, John comes upon the beautiful Lorna by a waterfall and the attraction between them is instant. John is horrified when Lorna later reveals herself to be a Doone, however, he realizes he cannot fight the love growing between them.
