S2 E1: Adrian Edmondson presents a new series about life in the the Yorkshire Dales. The Dales are spectacularly beautiful but they are also a challenging environment for the people who live and work in some of the remote communities. This week, Ade starts his summer with a spectacular journey over the Dales by helicopter. His first point of call is Ravenseat Farm, where sheep farmers Clive and Amanda Owen live with their five young children. It is the summer holidays and the children are taking advantage of the vastness of the farm while Amanda has some good news to share that will change the family's life. In Upper Wharfedale, the Buckden Singers rehearse for the big event of the year - their annual summer concert. The choir is made up of 45 singers of all abilities who come together to share the love of song and the spirit of community. Elsewhere, estate agent Brian Carlisle takes on a rather unusual sale in the Dales - a stunning 40ft waterfall called Catrigg Force in Ribblesdale.
