Episode 1

S1 E1: Iraq, April 2003. A British unit comes under fire in a Basra flat and there is a sudden explosion. Soldiers Danny and Hibbs rescue an injured comrade while Sergeant Mike Swift takes an injured Iraqi girl to the hospital, where he meets Dr Aliyah Nabil for the first time. After coming home to Manchester at the end of their tour, all three men decide to return to Basra, but for very different reasons.
