Episode 2

S1, E2: A medical drama about three female doctors returning to post-pandemic frontline medicine. Cancelled operations mean that Catherine is struggling to get surgical hours - she's also fuming that Lars has brought his wife Brigitta with him from Sweden as he tries to be a father to Elis. When Catherine is tasked with letting patients down, she soon realises that communication isn't her strong point - also avoiding talking is Maryam, who hasn't told Raz what happened with Edward. When she finds out that there's going to be an investigation, Maryam fears that her old doubts and anxieties are returning... and on top of this comes news of a potential addition to her family. Helen feels tensions between her and Guy worsen when her estranged sister Debbie arrives with her son Callum, who has epilepsy - Debbie is an addict, and when questions arise about Callum's medication, Helen must decide where her loyalties lie. Also faced with a huge decision is Catherine, but can she agree with it?
