S3 E3: Episode three in this third series of Iain Connell and Robert Florence's hit comedy sketch show opens with an address by the Prime Minister which carries genuine shock value. There follow plenty of appearances by regular 'Burnistoun' characters, however, to prove we haven't strayed too far from the eponymous darkly comic town. Misguided entrepreneur, Alex Ciderson, invents a new way of packaging beer; 'quality polis' McGregor and Toshan gatecrash a party; while pals Peter and Scott find they have a different approach to shaving a certain part of their anatomy. The Kilty Club's Herry McLoudery massacres another Scots song, and in another of his home videos Jolly Boy John displays some unusual ways with pakora. An incompetent taxidermist manages to make rather more than just a pigs ear out of a stuffed dog, thus enraging one pet-loving Burnistoun resident, while another is driven to distraction by his new talking alarm clock which won't shut up. Conversely regulars in a Burnistoun pub are rendered speechless by the appearance of a drinking pal's new girlfriend. 'Burnistoun' is written by and stars Iain Connell and Robert Florence. Also appearing are Louise Stewart, Richard Rankin, Gerry McLaughlin and Kirsty Strain.
