S1 E9: Geoffrey Palmer narrates the documentary series following some of the British expats who have upped sticks and moved to the Dordogne region of France. The show centres around the picturesque town of Eymet and features fascinating characters including choir members, cricketers and fish-and-chip-van owners. This week's show features Jon and Sheila High, who moved to France in their sixties to buy a hazelnut farm. The programme also meets Alex Crowe and Clare Milling, who moved from Brighton with their two children, bought a field and created a yurt campsite for visitors to enjoy a different kind of camping experience. Finally, cameras catch up again with Pauline and Clive Davie, who run a bed and breakfast guest house. In this episode Clive has arranged a very special surprise for Pauline to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
