S3 E2: A young child's body is found in a drainage tunnel. The description matches Sammy Wray, a three year old boy who went missing from a park playground. Janine breaks the news to Sammy's devastated parents. His father Clive has an alibi for the time of Sammy's disappearance, but it is later proved to be false. He was lying to cover up his meeting with a daughter from a former marriage. Clive's needy ex-wife Claire and their daughter Sarah become suspects as they believe that Clive would never have left them if it wasn't for Sammy. Amidst uncomfortable recriminations between the boy's grieving parents, Janine receives shocking news - DNA tests show that the dead child is not Sammy Wray. Now, not only do they still have a murder case, but they are also racing against the clock to find a missing child.
