The Paradise of Thieves

S3 E13: Father Brown (Mark Williams) and Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack) meet bank manager Mr Harrogate (William Gaminara), to discuss a charitable donation to the church roof fund. Sid (Alex Price) and Lady Felicia (Nancy Carroll) are in the main hall when the quiet rural bank is thrown into chaos by two armed robbers who demand that the vault is opened. Harrogate is forced to comply but they are astonished to find the body of a young man inside. A stunned Harrogate informs Father Brown that the dead man is his own son-in-law. As Harrogate is the only one with a key to the vault, Inspector Sullivan (Tom Chambers) decides to arrest him. Father Brown believes that Harrogate is innocent but he must solve the mystery of how the body ended up in the vault to identify the real killer and save Harrogate from the gallows.
