Glenn Close makes a deliciously despicable Cruella De Vil in this live-action version of Dodie Smith's greater-spotted children's classic. She's the chain-smoking fashionista with evil designs on the pet Dalmatians owned by dog lovers Joely Richardson and Jeff Daniels. Imagine how many coats one can make out of daddy Pongo, mummy Perdita and 99 snuggly puppies! Alas, Cruella makes the mistake of employing bungling henchmen Hugh Laurie and Mark Williams (Harry Potter's Mr Weasley) to execute her despicable plan. Down, boys!
