Tom Smith, a 'daydreamer', struggling with the demands of a stressful work life and his responsibilities as a father and husband, is offered the chance to leave it all behind when he is seduced by a business client who offers him a 'better life.' Promising her he will confess to his wife when he gets home, he leaves her car, internally torn by his conflicting desires. Set upon by a gang of hoodies he is beaten within an inch of his life and falls into a sub-conscious world where he assumes other lives which test his morals and values and take him far from home, ultimately putting his life in jeopardy. Lost in worlds and lives that mirror his desires and conflicts, he can only find his path home if he learns the true value of his life.
