Michael is a big city accountant raising a teenage daughter all on his own. When an opportunity comes for him to take a working Christmas vacation at horse farm in the country, he jumps at the opportunity and takes daughter Chloe along. With the farm on the brink of foreclosure, Michael's ability to get on with Sam, a 3rd generation horse farmer becomes crucial for its survival. Convinced that she doesn’t need any help from a big city accountant, Sam lets Michael know it every chance she gets. Meanwhile, Chloe has discovered a new best friend, Holly, a thoroughbred who could be the answer to saving the farm but Chloe cannot bear her being sold. Will Michael and Sam learn to work together and can Chloe save Holly, the farm and Christmas?
