American Mummy

A group of archaeologists unearth ancient mummified remains in the New Mexico desert. One of the crew performs a dark ritual on the mummy to attempt to bring it back to life, awakening the vengeful spirit of an Aztec lord who is intent on finishing his centuries-old reign of terror. As the mummy's curse infects the crew members, they turn on each other, and the ancient evil threatens to engulf mankind.
