Comatosed criminal Mac (Matthew Modine) wakes up to find frustrated cop Sykes (Sylvester Stallone) quizzing him about a $20m bank raid seven years before. Mac is suffering retrograde amnesia and can't recall where the cash is hidden, so he is forced to take a dangerous memory enhancing drug and relive the life he's forgotten.
