Disney's classic mixture of live action, music and animation finds three wartime evacuees taken on a series of adventures by a magic bedstead and an apprentice witch (Angela Lansbury). Enchanting and terrifically entertaining fantasy, blessed with toe-tapping tunes and an unmissable football match between the True Blues (yaaay! ) and the Dirty Yellows (boooo! ). Won an Oscar for best special effects.
