Here is a story about the generosity of the human spirit. Anne Morgan was the daughter of banker John Pierpont Morgan, and yet she worked at the vanguard of both feminism and humanitarian action. Not far from the front between French and German armies, she led a cadre of goodwill ladies dedicated to helping French families ravaged by war. Later she was inducted into the French Foreign Legion.
