Menocchio - The Heretic
During late 16th century Italy, the Catholic Church, threatened by the Protestants, unleashes the Inquisition. Menocchio, an old, stubborn and self-educated miller, oppose the new order. Accused of heresy, he ignores the pleadings and stands trial.
