Reasons of the Heart

An adopted woman decides to try to find out about her natural parents. With the name of a remote location as her only clue, she heads for a tiny American town in the mountains. Her inquiries lead her to suspect she was the illegitimate daughter of two young lovers in a suicide pact, and she tries to enlist the help of a cantankerous local author who wrote a book about them.
