River of Grass

In the run-down, torpid area between Miami and the Everglades, a dissatisfied housewife, Cozy, and Lee Ray, the live-at-home handyman she meets in a bar, are involved in an accidental shooting. Thinking they have committed murder they decide to flee, but their natures and bank balances ensure they don't get very far.
