Holly, an English professor, decides to take a last shot at romantic happiness. She signs up to a dating website and meets Josh. His friend, David, also a professor at the same college, begins to write poetic messages to Holly as if they were from Josh. But when she begins to fall in love with the romantic soul behind the words, all three of them learn an important lesson about love.
