The Father Clements Story

The Rev George Clements (Louis Gossett Jr.) is used to listening to the unique troubles faced by teenagers. But he's confronted with an especially heartrending case when he meets Joey (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), an orphan who lives on the streets. Not wanting to see Joey fall by the wayside, or be recruited into the gang life, Father Clements decides to take matters into his own hands -- he adopts the young man, much to the consternation of Cardinal Cody (Carroll O'Connor).
