The World Made Straight

In 1970s Western North Carolina, a young man sees an opportunity to make some easy money but quickly steps into dangerous territory. Having been seriously injured by a vengeful farmer, and disowned by his own family, he is left with no choice but to stay with an ex-school teacher with a past of his own. Realising there are better ways to make a future other than repeating mistakes, the two men work together to learn from the past of their families, a history that they never knew was so bitterly entwined.
