Alek Keshishian
Alek Keshishian is an award-winning film and commercial director, writer, producer, and photographer. Keshishian’s first film, the seminal MADONNA: TRUTH OR DARE, was the highest grossing documentary of its time. His follow up feature film WITH HONORS starred an elite cast comprised of Joe Pesci, Brendan Fraser, and Patrick Dempsey. Keshishian spent over 10 years in London concentrating on photography and advertising working with a plethora of celebrities, brands, and clients. While abroad in London, he wrote, directed, and produced the indie comedy LOVE AND OTHER DISASTERS starring the late, Brittany Murphy, which was a festival favorite. Keshishian returned to Los Angeles in 2007 and focused his efforts on writing screenplays for filmmakers and studios, while working on special projects and directing commercials. In 2015, Selena Gomez and Keshishian met and worked together on her music video “Hands to Myself,” which led to a lengthy collaboration that spanned 6 years and resulted in Keshishian’s latest film and return to the documentary: SELENA GOMEZ: MY MIND & ME for Apple TV+.
