The Lifetime Channel was producing a new series titled "Drop Dead Diva," a legal dramedy about a shallow aspiring model who was given a chance to redeem herself after dying in a fatal car crash. Bowlby played Stacy Barrett, the best friend of the show's main protagonist, Deb Dobkins (Brooke D'Orsay).
