Jennifer Runyon

Actress Jennifer Runyon never gained substantial parts in movies or on television during her brief time in the spotlight, but because of her sunny disposition and California-girl beauty, many fans who do remember her think of her fondly. Her most notable early work was playing Sally Frame on the daytime soap opera "Another World" from 1981 to 1983. Movie fans, however, might be most familiar with her sexpot role in the 1984 teen comedy "Up the Creek," starring "Animal House" alumni Tim Matheson and Stephen Furst, or from her small but memorable part as the girl Bill Murray takes a fancy to during the ESP test at the beginning of "Ghostbusters." "Brady Bunch" fans will remember her best, though, from her role replacing Susan Olsen as Cindy Brady in the 1988 television movie, "A Very Brady Christmas." She was also a regular on the Scott Baio sitcom "Charles in Charge." Runyon retired from acting in the early 1990s after starring in the Roger Corman-produced "Jurassic Park" rip-off, "Carnosaur."
