There is no room to crack under pressure in the first elimination. The pastry powerhouses must try to `Smash It' by creating a dish that smashes or cracks.

The first immunity challenge requires the chefs to create delicious dishes inspired by judge Amaury Guichon's famous lifelike dessert masterpieces.

The contestants walk into a Christmas wonderland to cook a festive dish that is special to them. Curtis Stone gives each of them a fruit to incorporate in their creation.

The contestants are faced with an elimination mystery box in which they must use a frozen ingredient. They can choose from beetroot, berry liqueur, roselle and chilli.

The contestants split into three teams of three for a team relay where they must make use of the secret ingredient: maple syrup.
