Rick Vallin

Rick Vallin was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Vallin started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Perils of the Royal Mounted" (1942), the drama "Lady From Chungking" (1942) with Anna May Wong and "Secrets of a Co-ed" (1942). He also appeared in "The Panther's Claw" (1942), the Chief Thundercloud western "King of the Stallions" (1942) and "Isle of Forgotten Sins" (1943). He kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in the western "Wagon Tracks West" (1943) with Billy Elliott, "Dangerous Money" (1946) and "Brick Bradford" (1948). He also appeared in "Adventures of Sir Galahad" (1949) with George Reeves. During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the adventure "King of the Congo" (1952) with Buster Crabbe, "Blackhawk" (1952) and the drama "Strange Fascination" (1952) with Cleo Moore. He also appeared in the Billy Elliott western "The Homesteaders" (1953) and the Marjorie Main comedy "Ma and Pa Kettle at Home" (1954). Vallin more recently acted in "Pier 5 Havana" (1959).
