In Varanasi, Bettany takes part in a Hindu ritual which helps her process her own recent bereavement. She also takes a boat out to the Lake Palace on an island in Lake Pichola.
Bettany enjoys the breath-taking journey through the Tamil Nadu hills, between Mettupalayam and Udhagamandalam (Ooty).
