Season 1
TV Show · Reality

Charlotte Crosby has swapped Newcastle for new countries, new cultures and new communities in the brand new series, The Charlotte Crosby Experience exclusively on TLC. It’s time for the Geordie lass to take a lesson in poise, grace, and stillness as Charlotte travels to Tokyo, to spend time with the Furisode-san, young women steeped in Geisha tradition! Next, it’s off to the Arctic Circle, home to a naïve Inuit population. With the help of some extreme survival training, one massive coat, and a few Huskies, Charlotte attempts to live as they do, but how will she cope with temperatures touching minus fifty, with a diet consisting of raw Walrus meat, and with the ever present possibility of being mauled by Polar bears? And lastly Charlotte jets off to Canada to live with The Kleinsassers, part of the Manitoba Hutterite Community. Confident she’ll fit right in, having got a B in Religious Studies at school, Charlotte soon realises their lives are worlds apart, there’s no telly, no shops, the men and women sit at separate tables during mealtimes, and they consider Beyoncé, her favourite recording artist, ‘immoral’. What will they make of Charlotte, and can she put aside her twenty first century distractions and attitudes to take up the 19th garb of this strict religious community?
