Season 3

Newly single Jess arrives at her new flat with an unusual line in housewarming gifts, including a 'Dirty Dancing' DVD and a neat line in personal theme tunes.

Coach moves out and Winston returns to his old flat. Winston, Schmidt and Nick refuse to lend Jess any household items so that she has to go to her ex-boyfriend Spencer's house to collect her belongings. Unfortunately, Jess ends up doing her ex and his new girlfriend a favour. Undeterred, Nick encourages Jess to stand up to Spencer so that she can move on in her life.

The gang are invited to a wedding of a mutual friend. Nick is worried that he'll run into Caroline, his ex, and so asks Jess to be his pretend girlfriend. Meanwhile, Schmidt is on the prowl for single women but ends up with his sexual arch-enemy and Winston relishes his role as usher by getting competitive on the dance-floor.

Jess accidentally walks in on a naked Nick and ruins his self-confidence before a date with a co-worker. Meanwhile, Winston busies himself on Wikipedia.

Cece convinces Jess that Nick might consider her more than a friend, while Schmidt tries to hook up with Cece.

Jess invites Paul, a music teacher from her school that she's always had a crush on, to the gang's big Thanksgiving dinner, which naturally goes horribly awry.
