2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team

Yuni is excited when childhood friend Kimichika returns after eight years, but finds that he's a completely different person.

The team prepares for its first tournament. When Yuni panics, Haijima saves the game but insults Yuni, leading him to tell the rest of the team about his past.

At Seiin High School, Yuni and Haijima both join the volleyball team, but Haijima stops coming; the captain and vice-captain convince Haijima to return even with Yuni on the team.

During practice, Haijima insists that Yuni practice only his receives; Yuni is frustrated but doesn't want to jeopardize their rekindled friendship.

Yuni and Haijima go to Haijima's old school and learn the truth about what happened.

A rival team at Fukuho High hears about Haijima's skills. Fukuho team members spy on a practise.
