999: Police Hour of Duty

A woman is threatening suicide and heading towards a bridge. It's just past 9pm and a police unit is dispatched to track her down, but find her home empty. Knowing that time is of the essence, they begin to trawl the streets looking for her.

Officers prepare to raid the address of a suspected drug dealer with links to an organised crime group. At Comms HQ, it is a hectic night and a woman calls 999 reporting that her brother is threatening to slit his wrists.

A woman calls 999 reporting that her son's car has been petrol bombed outside her house. It could blow at any moment, but two of her sons are inside the house and are unable to get out.

A frantic call comes through to Comms HQ, a woman is on the rampage with a hammer, smashing windows and terrifying kids. Police blue-light to the scene and arrest the suspect.

A fire has broken out in a block of flats, and the residents' lives are in danger. Officers act fast to evacuate the building, but when one resident fails to open their door, they are forced to take drastic actions.

After a two-day manhunt, police finally corner a man suspected of carrying out armed robberies. He denies any involvement in the crimes, but the police can't afford to release him.
