A Kind of Magic

Aladdin asks a wish of Ugo, a giant Djinn. Soon after, he crosses paths with Alibaba, a youth who dreams of acquiring power and wealth. After learning of Aladdin's powers, Alibaba attempts to win Aladdin's favor.

Alibaba and Aladdin enter a dungeon where they manage to elude traps and monsters using the power of Ugo. Unknown to them, they are bing followed by Jimil, Morgiana and a large man with a sword named Goltas.

Aladdin and Alibaba reach the inner chamber of the dungeon but are attack my Jamil and Morgiana. Aladdin grabs a stone scepter and uses his powers to protect Alibaba which brings forth another Djinn named Amon.

Three days after escaping the dungeon, with no news of Aladdin, Alibaba sets out to find his friend. Aladdin wakes in a nomad village far away and is welcomed by the leader, the Shaman Chagan.

Treachery leads to the death of Chagan. Her spirit appears to Aladdin and confirms that he is indeed a Magi. The plot to kill Hakuei is uncovered and Aladdin saves her and her assistant during the fighting.

Morgiana confronts a band of thieves by herself. Defeated and once again in chains, Morgiana uses her powers to protect a child and defeat the slave traders. She finds Aladdin among the other prisoners and discovers he is travelling to Balbadd to meet Alibaba.
