Butch and Bill are ready to overtake the competition in their rig; Pete and Shey take on a slow-and-steady strategy while the Leigh brothers, rely on their tenacity.

Continuing their trek north into the McKinley River Basin, Butch and Bill look to extend their lead as the five teams traverse mining trails, ridges and glacier rivers.

The terrain becomes less forgiving as the teams head deeper into the Alaskan Interior. Vehicles are pushed to the breaking point as the Warriors meet trails littered with sharp boulders. Teams reach new highs, conquering the most intense elevations.

The four remaining teams encounter permafrost bogs, hidden mud holes and treacherous ridges; Bill and Butch take aim at Rich and Carl; two sibling teams consider working together.

Butch and Bill attempt to overtake the Super Jeep as the warriors begin the second half of the expedition; the Leigh brothers and the Lanigans work together to conquer the mud; Rich and Carl make their move.

Rover rejoins the race, dropping a bomb in the other teams' strategies. Plus, Butch and Bill kick it into high gear trying to catapult War Wagon back to the top.
