Barry, a disillusioned hit man, is sent to Los Angeles to kill an aspiring actor who is having an affair with a Chechen mob leader's wife; after following his target to an acting class, Barry becomes inspired to begin a new life with the students.
After the shocking news is broken, Gene encourages his students to channel their feelings into their work. Meanwhile, after deciding to quit his job, Barry tries hard not to be drawn back in by Fuches and Chechens.
Barry is forced to miss an acting class to honour an obligation. Detectives Moss and Loach attempt to piece together a murder puzzle and the Chechens rejoice when a legendary assassin arrives.
Barry discovers that distancing himself from Fuches and the Chechens might be harder than he thought. Sally is disappointed to learn that an audition arranged by a possible agent may come with strings attached and Gene has some news for Moss.
A scene from Macbeth triggers a reaction, pushing Barry and Sally further apart and Moss is determined to interrogate members of Gene's acting class.
Barry attempts to fly solo at a remote airstrip, but Taylor still wants in. Vacha seeks revenge on the man who killed his brother, despite Pazar's orders.
