Billy Connolly's Tracks Across America

Scottish comedian and actor Billy Connolly goes on a train journey across mainland USA in this three-part series. In the series `Billy Connolly's Route 66', the host completes a 2500-mile trip on the famous American highway; this time, he intends to cover 28 states and 8000 miles via the US rail network. The adventure begins in New York, from where Connolly travels onto the badlands of North Dakota, the Arizona desert, the Smoky Mountains and the swamplands of Louisiana. Along the way, Connolly meets with all kinds of people, including outlaws, singers and fighters.
