Secret Life of Dogs
Dogs have lived alongside humans for thousands of years, over time and with selective breeding, the number of breeds has risen to over 400. Each kind has its own personality traits and physical characteristics, and have come to be known as man's best friend for good reasons. This documentary uses state-of-the-art technology such as macro photography, thermal images and slow motion footage, to explore why dogs have their endearing and quirky behaviour. Also examined are the unique characteristics of dogs such as their intense sense of smell, and their strange intuition when it comes to responding to human behaviour, which also means some breeds are excellent in assistance roles, such as therapy and police work.
