Fishing Scotland's Lochs & Rivers

Beginning in Arbroath, the home of the highly prized smokie, and finishing in Oban, the team pass through some of the greatest fishing pools on Earth in the hope of landing the local fish hero.

Fern Britton, Lord Ian Botham, Linford Christie, Les Dennis and Rosemary Shrager are eager to catch a fish. Eluded by the salmon on their first trip, they move north to Loch Tay where the idea of catching a monster springs to mind.

The group embraces a change in personnel as Linford Christie, Rosemary Shrager, Les Dennis and Fern Britton swap Lord Ian `Beefy' Botham for pop star Shane Lynch and head south towards Stirling.

Fern, Les, Linford, Shane and Rosemary continue their Scottish fishing jaunt and head into the fabulously scenic Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park to hunt for trout.

The famous fishing five arrive at Oban on the west coast of Scotland and set off to find out why it's known as the seafood capital of Scotland. After eating possibly too much seafood the day before, however, Les Dennis bows out.
